Last month apache.org suffered from a targeted attack against their infrastructure. The Apache Foundation has released the incident report to promote security transparency among more companies.
This time the 'weak' link was a server only hosting their issue-tracking software.
Kudos to the Apache Foundation for releasing the incident report. We can only hope more companies start acting with the same transparency as Apache did.
